I'm am now a firm believer of stop and go!! Part two ***New pics added***
Day Two of Spinnerbait Fishing: Stop and go keeps on producing!
Yes I did do well! Caught 7 total! That 42 total bass this year!! I also caught them all on a spinnerbait stop and go, I didn't really have the stuff to lug around all my tackle in my tackle bag. So I gut brought the one spinnerbait I had tied on (1/4 oz white/blue wally world with a willow blade). Not that bad until I found a shallow weedy flat with lot of hydrilla mats around near sunset, wish I had my frog! Any way, I'm getting ahead of my self. When I was fish I came along to an old salt that I know fishes their more than I do. He said he got 2 bass, and it was a slow day. As soon as he said that, I got a nice bass, I love dissing vets! Okay so I come to a deep drop off next to a bunch of scattered mats! I know the would hold fish! I pulled out 3 from there lost one. All about the same size some where from 2-3lbs my guess! I when some time with out catching fish there, so I started moving, I started running out of hydrilla mats, so I continued to move. I came to a large mat that would hold some fish, it did, I pulled 3 from their! Same size as the others. Any way.... pics! Oh, Mr./Ms.Gator cam about again! (don't worry bama it let 'em be!) Thanks for looking ~SJ

good news pal. and just wondering...ain't that gater a little too close to houses? lived in south bama for 17 years, and if there was one that close they came and took it away to another safer place in the delta. just a thought. especialy since those are so close to a playground and all.

He killed this bear with 1 roundhouse, I'm sure a gator wouldn't be a match.
Awesome fishing Boss!

Never was a fan of the spinnerbait, in my 28 years of fishing it has ranked very low in how I catch bass, high for most. At your young age take this and expand on it, yes this works for 2 or so pound fish in this water. Expand on it and see if you can find someting that works for 3 or so pound fish in this water. Don't just be satisfied to catch fish, strive to catch bigger fish.

The gators wont harm you if you stay away. I've been much, much closer to much bigger ones. Taste like chikin.

BAD NEWS FELLAS!
I when out to tweek some of my spinnerabaits. When I looked in my tackle bag it my spinner bait box was out of sight! I'll be going back to the pond tomorrow to look for it. I think it will still be their, no one other than this old guy fishes there, and I'm sure I'll see him tomorrow or this weekend and I'll ask him if he's seen it! Wish me luck!

Wedge spinnerbaits are pretty good. They have Hank Parker classic spinnerbaits at Wal-mart. They are made from piano wire and vibrate like a sonofagun! (little secret out of the bag)

I went back to the lake to look again! I found them! ........ well, not really.
They guy that fishes there frequently was there, (I'm guessing he's retired). I approached him to ask if he had seen them--but when I got with in voice rang, he asked if I was looking for a box of spinnerbaits, I said I was. He said that since he'd seen me fishing there before that he new he would see me again and that he had found them and saved them for me. He even stopped his fishing to got to his truck and get them for me. What a nice guy! Hat off to him! Anyways, keep coming with the spinnerbait answers, I'd like to get some more!
