Fish gripper
I bought one of those plastic fish grippers. I have to take all the fish off my girlfriend baits and mine also. So I bought one of the fish grippers that are like pliers. I was wondering if anyone uses them and if they work alright. Hate to get a hand or finger full of treble hook.

I have a pair that resemble vise grip pliers. They work ok, I use them if I have a fish on with treble hooks, I do not want to bare hand and get stuck - seen that a couple times and it isn't funny. I've landed snakehead using them, haven't had an opportunity to try them on Muskie or pike yet, but think they would be ok with the possible exception of very large (long) fish that may put a lot of leverage on them.

Thanks, was a real blast to catch, but not too fun wrestling into the boat alone by hand.
