New reel suggestion.
What would you consider a good spinning reel for light weight applications? Going to spool it with 20 pound braid, 6# mono equiv. I'm looking at the Shimano Sahara FE 2500, Pflueger Supreme, President XT and President, Bass pro Johnny Morris and Pro Qualifiers. I have a 100.00 budget max. All look good and having trouble deciding.

I do too. Looking at the Sahara 2500 SI and SE models. Also like the Phlueger President and Supreme reels. Shimano has a couple others that sound good but our local BPS doesn't have them in stock to check out. Not sure about the quality of BPS spinning reels but their Johnny Morris spinning reel looks very good. Customer feed back is only so so on those though.

x3 on the Shimano. I have a symetre. I know that when my 12 year old son is ready for a new spinning reel I will definitely be buying him a shimano, but maybe a class or two below that.
