Chilli Dog vs the four wheeler...
...And the four wheeler won. I called Flea this morning from over here in Israel and got this news.
Dylan was riding his four wheel around the yard and Chilli was chasing him, just as usual. I have been making this prediction for a while too. Well, Chilli made a left when he should have went right and ended up getting ran over by the back wheel. Dylan was squalling the dog was yelping, and the neighbor was saying I think he is OK while his leg was flopping all over the place. Flea took him to the vet and they x-rayed him and it turned out to just be a broke leg. She said she was scared his back was broke because he had tire marks and a laceration on his back, but it was only the leg. Here comes the comedy in it all. Flea said Carson was getting in to a cabinet and she hollered, "Carson, get over here!" And the doctor turned around and said excuse me mam? I forgot to mention his name was Dr. Carson. So Chilli is on the table and starts gagging. She said he throws up what looks like a banana on the table from the scrap chicken and dumplings she had fed him earlier. She said she got a whif and was like oh my, that is bad. She looks down and the smell apparently hit Carson too because he started gagging and ultimately, threw up on the floor. And she said to top in off, Tanner was in the corner just rolling with laughter (Yeah, he acts just like me). She said it was a rough trip none the less, but Chilli Dog is gonna be alright after he spends 3 weeks in a cast.

Ouch....rough day for ChiliDog and Felicia. Sounds like Tanner had a blast, though.
ChiliDog looks fine, though. I've heard that daschunds are tough....I guess they gotta be, because being small and stupid doesn't make life easy....

Dachshunds are indeed tough little dogs...at least they think they are.

That made me laugh for some reason. He is somewhat on the dumb side of things. It always amazes me how I will put his blanket in his house and he will drag it back out in the pouring rain so I can look out of the window and watch it shake while he is shivering under it. Maybe he just likes amusing me. I love him, but you can't fix stupid and he knows momma isn't going to let him stay inside.

Thats is quite the story and must admit, rather amusing. It's too bad about Chilidog for sure. I wonder if he will stay away from the 4 wheeler from here out. The part about what happened in the vets office should be in a movie, haha.

That was sort of a humorous story ( except for the dog getting run over). The vet's office sounded like quite a story!

Sorry about the pup Curado. But for crying out loud that was a comical picture I had in my head while reading that.

Great story but we need a follow up after Chilli's leg heals.
We need to see if he's through with the 'hot dogging' around the yard? Thanks for the share.

Chili is currently resting in his home in Alla Con Carne where he is being fed vienne sausages to regain his strength. I know, it's disgusting, almost like cannibalism.
He should be getting the cast off about the time I get back home and we will start with rehab. I will keep you posted.
