Default Custom painted jerkbait and cranks

Donnie's been busy and the Monkey is along for the ride. Here's a few for those who believe (or don't) in the benefits of matching the hatch. Don't think you'll find these on the shelf at Wally World.....

Baby Snakehead

Bluegill

Pumpkinseed

Going to pick up the snakehead on Friday. I've been telling Donnie to start the production for the upcoming shows and flea markets.....he's going to sell everything he can paint if he duplicates what he's done in these pics.

Are those production baits he repainted, or blanks?

The jerkbait he repainted. I believe the crankbaits are blanks but I'd have to ask him. He does both.

That's cool, I was just curious. The 2 cranks kind of look like they have chip board lips. He does fantastic work!!

I rather like the snakehead even though we dont have them ,might do some good to train the bass to eat the things, before they multiply.
How much?

Definitely not an Xcalibur, the gill markings are different. Very similar shape though.

I can't even draw a good stick man but just a small question? Dark gill flap on the bluegill plug seems too high vs the photo. I'd love to have those kind of skills and whether or not you believe in match the hatch it dang sure ain't gonna hurt!

Don't tell him that because he'll repaint the bait.....

Cost depends on the amount of work. Repaints start at $6. Most originals like the two sunfish will run in the $8-12 range.

Check him out at Fishnart Taxidermy/Custom Baits on facebook and ask him.
