I'm going to echo waterboys sentiment. It's good to see you back here in the forums again Mike. As for my biggest bass, I didn't have a scale with me unfortunately. I was fishing from a pier right after ice out and caught one that I am sure was between 5-6 pounds. It came off a suspending jerk bait. Lost one just before that one that would have been a couple pounds heavier.

My biggest was a 6 pounder on a Stanley Ribbit frog. It was cool because I heard this beast plashing about 15 feet away from me on the bank chasing frogs. I threw just beyond it swimming it back parallel to the shore and “WHAM!” on first cast. I immediately went to Cabelas at the end of my day and bought 3 more packs of those frogs.

I didnt catch to many big ones this past year, I caught quite a few decent 2-3 lbers though.

The biggest one I caught this year was probably only 3.75#. Not a lot of huge fish up here.

2011 was slow for me, biggest I believe was just over 3lb. Most years I have several in the 5-6 lb. range.

I am starting to wonder if that warmouth I caught in the late summer was bigger than the biggest bass...

Got two that tied for biggest. Both just under 7lbs / 22.5".

One on a black spro poppin frog (one you gave me! )

And the other on a purple jig with a black PORK trailer.

Biggest smallmouth was about 20" Didn't get a girth measurement, but probably around 4 -5 pounds.

Can't wait for next year to get going already!

I caught a few in the #3-4 range, which was all fine and dandy. But nothing I would call toadmatic!
