Default Thursday after work (pic)

I was skunked for the first time at my favorite pond yesterday after work. I had one nibble and it was a small one. I was bound and determined to catch at least one today. I caught 6!!! Four were "dinks" (less than 1.5 lbs). One was 3 lbs and the other was deserving of a photo. She was very health and was 6.5 lbs.

I hear ya. It took me a while to break the 5 lb mark. I did it just last year and it seems that once I did, my confidence was much higher. I think that helps me more than anything. I go out now just "knowing" that I am going to catch a 5 lber. Of course it hasn't hurt that I fish a private 18.5 acre pond either.

I can't wait to hook into one of the 10 lbers that the owners have said are in the lake.

Sweet fish man! Looks like you had a good day!

It is one of those green molded plastic pontoons. I still have my inflatable but the owner of the lake said that I can use that molded plastic boat. I just bring my own battery and trolling motor.
