Redneck "crappie" dock and potential HOA violation

I absolutley love pitching docks that look like that because you know there is some cover under it.

Correct-there's a perfect semi-circle of Xmas trees planted out in front. We call it the "top of the key" 12' deep and a high % stop for sure.

notice the chicken wire "hoop" dead center?

Easily one of my favorite fishing pictures. My son managed to snap this pic of a bass attacking a popper. He was actually taking a landscape shot of the house/dock in the background and took the pic at exactly the right moment!

A shout out to Reb. One of the many, many bass caught on a Reb spinnerbait. And the only pic I could find where the spinnerbait was actually in the pic. Thanks my friend! Sadly, I lost that bait later the same day when a big bass broke me off. Serves me right for not checking my line closely enough for knicks......

A picture of my kids fishing what it is all about. Plus one I snatched from his happy home in the grass flipping.

My 17 month old fishin buddy!! His first catfish derby at Catfish Cove. It's a kids only fishing pond on Fort Polk.

Well, boys, I gotta hijack this thread a bit for a story about that trip. Or should I say a Zooker story about that trip.

That trip was in May of '09. I would have loved to have been there, but wasn't able to get there. As it turned out I was needed here. On the 12th my mom passed away. Well, 'ol Zooker found out and when the gang was sitting around a campfire he called me and passed the phone around so I talked to most of the guys there. I still can't express how much that meant to me. I sure miss the big guy. OK, back to topic
