Welcome to the club. Man thats a great deal for a citica d. Hope you like it. Im happy with all of my shimanos but Im becoming less brand loyal. I got the Pinnacle on a pinnacle lexus rod at acadummy for $55 friday. Rods 7' and has a short handle which I like and its really not that bad of a throw down crank rod, might even handle a sluggo. Im with you man-All about saving the cash and keeping the monkey satisfied.

"Scored at Walmart"
Where? Behind the counter? In the back room? Oh, never mind, you meant a monetary bargain. Sorry, but you know how my mind works.

Wanna sell that Citica D I have yet to find any of these so called sales I see from folks they post about them. Especially now I'm down south, they can sell the stuff year round. I would like to find those deals just once Congrats on the reel. I haven't bought one YET, but have been thinking about it, you know me. Also that price for an XRap is sweet too. I haven't jumped on the Tiki bus yet,(even though My Idol Reb has been giving them props for years). But I couldn't have passed up that either. I actually have been specifically staying out of the sporting goods sections/stores. I have so much unopened stuff, I really don't know what or how much of what I have rotflmao. I will hoiwever buy the Citica from ya though if you want to get rid of that horrible Shimano. I couldn't sleep well at night without offering to ease the pain it must be causing you

There goes Lizzie again. Always the humanitarian. Yeah, we rarely see sales down here for fishing stuff, especially rod/reels. Do occasionally pick up the off colors of Tiki's on sale for a dollar.
