Anybody remember the old culprit plastics with the fuzzy fibers on the bottom?
What kind of bassakwards thinking was that, yes I want my bait to stick to the basses jaw wear the teeth are and not actually go into his mouth. The odd thing is the fibers were on the bottom, if you texas rig it does that not make the hook a giant weed gaurd. Zooker this posting is for you and a comment about the crap produced that is more for catching fisherman and not fish.

Not all that farfetched. One successful tactic for catching garfish is to use a section of nylon rope, sans hook, and partially unravelled, as a lure. When the toothy critter puts the chomp on it his/her teeth are entangled therein and cannot be disengaged. Thus, the gar is caught.
Come to think of it some women have fuzzy fibe...never mind. L6 |

Sticky Worm, thatīs how they were called.
Nope, the velcro strip didnīt help to catch more fish and nope, they no longer make them, they were produced for about a year in the mid 90īs and thank God they stopped making them. You just couldnīt go to a store and purchase regular ordinary Culprit ribbontail worms, all you could find available were those danged Sticky Worms , thatīs how I got mine ( still have some left ), in parctical terms Culprit forced you to purchase them simply by not making the non sticky version. |

I remember when they came out , and in part of its failure was the berkley
power baits were all the rage and zoom was holding its own on lizards and many new ideas, so culprit and manns worms took 3rd and 4th place in the marketing monies earned in the late eighties and most of the nineties |
