Back to back Hawgs
Went to the local pond today. Started fishing around 10 am. this morning. Caught one small bass around 2 lbs. then nothing till I was leaving. I fished all around the bigger pond and the smaller pond. It was close to 4 pm and I was driving out but decided to cast a few times where I caught the 2 lber this morning. I caught the 2lber. on a 3/4 oz Strike King red eye shad in the sexy shad color. I made the first cast with the same bait and nothing. Made the second cast and fish on. After a good fight I landed her. Took some pics and tried to weigh her for the big bass contest. The scale wouldn't work. Took a pic of her laying next to the rod. Then put her back in the water. Made the third cast and two cranks of the handle wham and the fight was on. This time the second bass was determinded to get away. She kept swimming into a laydown but I got her out. This time I got the scale to work and she went 8lbs 11 ozs. Needless to say I couldn't believe after fishing all day with one 2 lber after three casts I landed 2 hawgs. See pics on big bass contest thread.

That's awesome Bob. A lot of people would have just went ahead and left after a tough day, nice job on stopping for one more shot.
