This information is from the Hancock Bio station. This is a good source. Hancock is on the west side of Kentucky lake near the Tennessee state line.
The lake is at 355. This is one foot above winter pool (354) and four feet below summer pool (359). So the water is a little higher than normal, right now. Take into consideration that the water temps taken here will be a little warmer this time of the year than those on northern areas of Kentucky lake. Big Bear is about 17 or so miles (north) from where this info was taken. By the time mid May rolls around, there may not be a difference in water temps from Hancock to Big Bear. |
