Senko:
It is a soft plastic stickbait. It was the original, but now there are a host of other brands. I mainly use Tiki Sticks by Wave Worm or Yum Dingers. They can be fished a number of ways-weightless like a T-rig or Wacky are probably the most popular. If you haven't tried them you need to. These are great fish catchers.

The Senko was the first of this type soft plastic. You are correct the Nick Creme came up with the plastic worm.
I use Zoom Super Flukes a whole lot more than Bass Assasins-I like the V-shaped tail of the SF better than the straight tail of the BA, but both are good baits.

outtie,
thats Zippy the Pinhead, famous underground comic book about a acid burnout...however after that stint in the mid 70's they changed his persona, and the comic strip continues to this day, however without any of the funny references to drugs and pot, kind of a cousin to the Fabulous Freak Brothers underground comic books of mid 70s |

I got some senkos from the bait monkey and I had one of the best days of fishing I have had in a long long time. I caught the biggest fish I have ever caught out of my lake yesterday (3.5 lbs) on a 5' watermelon black flake, really overcast day in semiclear water by rigging it Texas Rig with no weight. I was standing on a rock about 5 foot above the water, once I went to pull the senko out of the water and a bass came totally out of the water and latched onto it!! It almost pulled the rod out of my hand it scared me so bad. So thank guys for the tip on the senkos and for a great afternoon of fishing! Caught 7 total!
