Default Yellow Bass

I went fishing with a couple of my buddies this weekend. It was a pretty good day. I caught a 3-4 pound bass. The bass was normal colored on top and the sides, but his belly and some around his face was a yellow color. Do you know what causes this? He was a pretty healthy bass, so i was just wondering.

Yeah i don't know either. We caught 7 between us and 2 of mine were that color. I will say this i like my paca craws. This was the first time i got to use them in a public pond and i really like the results.

I've caught a lot that color in grass or vegetation. Most of them in the summer time. White perch change to a yellow/gold color too in the summer time.
