Default The Bait Monkey and the Good Idea Fairy are Related

So, I live in a townhouse and I have to store my boat at a storage lot. I fish the Potomac a lot which can be fairly brackish. I have no way to flush my 225 Yami when I get out of the water so I had an idea. See I have a Ford F-250 with four upfitter switches. One is wired to a high idle circuit on the PTO transmission but that leaves three cool switches not connected to anything. This bugs me. So I had this bright idea. I would aquire a 25 gallon water tank and a 12 volt pump, install both in the bed with the pump wired to one of my spare upfitter switches. Then I could run a hose to the motor and flush her out.

Well, Tractor Supply Company was running a sale on a sprayer rig complete with pump installed on a 25 gallon tank for $180. I had the kids while mom was out relaxing Saturday so off we went to TSC. It looks like a nice rig complete with sprayer handle and sprayer hose. It also has a garden hose hookup on it. The pump is only rated for 2 gal/min at 45psi so I may have to upgrade to one they offer in the store rated at 5 gal/min at 45 psi. We will see.

I was partially encouraged by the sale and partially driven by the three open switches. I will post pics soon.

now this is VERY interesting for real. can't wait to see the pics and see how it works. hoping the best for ya pal.

all i do is connect the hose to mine. thought about getting a 55 gal barrel like the old days. hate seeing water run all over the place (from hose), makes a bad mudhole.

If the weather holds out I should have it all hooked up this weekend. I envy you boys with the garages. I have a diesel truck addiction which does not help my problems with the home owner's association either. Apparently no one else in the neighborhood likes to see me with my butt in the air under the hood.
