Default Some new baits and reels

Tackle Tour has released some pics from the ISE show in Sacramento. The River2Sea crankbaits look awesome and some of the new Berkley plastics look cool too. Shimano's new big bait reel looks great for big swimbaits, I saw Larry Dahlberg fishing a prototype on tv this weekend. The Okuma Helio is Okuma's new high end bass reel. It isn't exactly new, I saw it during ICAST but it is available now. I think I am going to get one to try out here in a few weeks.

Yeah, the new Berkley baits look great and should be great fish catchers. We got them in at work (Jann's Netcraft) a few days ago, and they all look great, especially the Smash tube from Ike, and the juice worm (Boyd Duckett)

I think you'll like the reel j. I have a Cayanne and a Serrano and they are very nice reels.

They released pics of some new rods coming out also. I'm sure the new Dobyns rod is awesome and I hope Lamiglas offers their new blank in a bass rod. I am a big fan of Lamiglas rods.

What caught my eye was the crankbait spreader rig adaptation of the A rig...time to get the wire cutters out.

^^^^^^I noticed that thing too but I can't get a CB to run true with even a hint of near weightless muck on the hook. Wonder how they've engineered that deal to keep it from turning into a giant spinning mess?

Default that

Crank bait speader would not be legal in many states that have restrictions on a rigs such as three hooks(Tn),would have to remove 1 hook each from the crank bait if two on each one.
One of the bad things about such baits is someone is always adding, and adding, taking it well beyond what is the norm.
If it were legal then commercial fishermen would have a rig behind them that would catch a few doz and need a winch to retrieve.Fact is they have even stricter regs than we do.

In PA we can have up to three hooks, so if you had the CB hookless, with three arms behind, it would be good to go.

Them rod looks pretty darn sweet. Will definitely give the NRX a run for it's money, and my guess is over pass they've done in most price ranges.

Little more info can be found on em here. http://bassjunkiesfishingaddiction.b...ayta-rods.html

btw, I like how they stuck with the cork!

Most of you know I am a Shimano fan, but I really like my Serrano. I look forward to maybe building a rod for the Helio. They are some sweet reels. Just have to see how they hold up for the long run.

The new Dobyns Zayta looks awesome! I might have to save up for one of those.

That three year warranty, tells me they're confident that they will...Man, I really like that Shimano TranX, I just don't have that kinda dough. Come on Powerball!
