Selling units (see Humminbird 1197c offer also) like that for a grand sounds suspecious to me. May be legit, but smells like SCAM to me as the price borders on too good to be true and the only way I'd buy either is face to face after seeing them work. New member with no information in profile other than an email address, red flag for me. If I knew where he lived and could check them myself or have a trusted member of BF.com check them for me, I'd take them both, but to send payment then wait (hope) to receive the units, I definitely pass.

Good point, Bruce. Check out his other posts, too....all 4 are "For Sale" ads, trying to sell the same 2 units since last June. He's never responded to any other posts on those threads, either.

I see these types of "deals" (aka scams) on various fishing boards. Usually they get your money and you never see anything...
