60 degrees? I would club a baby seal with a bald eagle just to see 60... With the temps we have had in NE Ohio, I am sure i won't be seeing open water for a good long while. But I feel the sadness. Here is to hoping somebody gets to go fishing soon.

We went from a high of 79 on Saturday to a low of 19 and a ice storm on Sunday. I don't mind the cold and I don't mind it getting warm but I wish it would do one or the other.

We had a low of -9 yesterday with a high of 8 Still I've been out 3 times this year thanks to our power plant lakes, one of those days the 2 of use boated in excess of 100 fish. Today is supposed to be cold then it looks like we might turn the corner. Doesn't matter if we do or not, I'm still going fishing Thursday

Yeah this is the longest winter in the history of man. Well, at least it feels like it. But then again that's probably how I feel every year around this time.

Our weather has been bipolar too. I fished in shorts and no t-shirt at the end of Sunday and yesterday it got real cold (no snow or ice like a lot of the country). finished second in a little tournament, which is only notable because I haven't been able to pattern fish for the last two months.

I have been making an effort to get on the lake though and have been on the water 24 times already this year.

The FLW guys are going to be on Hartwell this weekend, and the weather from Thursday to Sunday ranges from a high of 45 on Thursday (with rain), high of 39 Friday (calling for hail), then back to back days of a high of 72 and sunny. Should be fun. (I'm calling 18-21lbs a day wins)
