Default Anyone score any cool new fishing gear for Christmas?

I didn't get any new gear, per se, however I did get a little bit of money, which of course goes to new fishing gear. I picked up a Daiwa Fuego from Tackle Warehouse, hard to pass up for $132. I also got enough money to buy a blank and some components to start a new rod build. Anyone else get fishing stuff this holiday season??

Got an Abu Garcia Vendetta. It looks awesome, very light and very well made. I can't wait to try it in the spring.

Nothing material, but did get a pretty respectable amount of Bass Pro gift cards, around 350$. No clue what I'm going to buy with it though.

I think you won Christmas.
I got a Garcia 702LX spinning reel which I really like!
I also (with my BPS cards) bought myself a HS Pro Qualifier....Love it so far.
And of course my Mudhole order

I got some fun stuff: a pair of Evolution Gorilla pliers, the Original Lipper which seems exceptionally well designed and built, a nifty Benchmade folding fillet knife, and a nice little book on fishing Boundary Waters and Quetico Parks. Even though it wasn't exactly a present (except to myself I guess) my Saros 2500 arrived just a few days before Christmas so I'm pretty much in lunker heaven.

Just got off the phone with Tackle Warehouse and placed my order for my Curado 200E5, a SK series 3 crank and Eakins football jigs. And they gave me a T-shirt and hoodie to boot. Hope it comes in before I head out. I reckon I can slobber over it until I get to hit the water again. I hope to get to order a rod tomorrow.

Bubba what rod are you looking for? I got the Falcon Low Rider XG 8ft mh. It's still on back order from TW. Can't throw cranks through the ice. So I'm patiently waiting for the rod and spring to get here.

Not specifically fishing, but I got a weather radio/clock/led lamp that can be charged via crank or operated on c batteries. It will be going in the boat, and was the good type gift because I would have never thought to buy one myself.
