Question Revo Reels

Scheels is having a clearance sale on Revo Premier reels, but I am confused. They keep telling me the reels they are selling on clearance are new reels that have 5 Swedish bearings plus one roller bearing. They tell me they were only made this year and now the company is doing an upgrade to the drag system. I have check the Abu Garcia website, Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop and I cannot find a Revo Premier Reel with only 5 bearings. Can someone help me out?

The 2009 Revo. The one you're talking about with 6 bearings. (not five, you count the roller bearing)

The new 2010 Revo.

How much are they selling for Steve? And by the way, welcome to the forum. While I am a Curado fan, I really haven't heard anyone say anything bad about a Revo. If the price was right, I would dive on it.

Sweet deal. I have one and spent a little more than that. It's nice and I haven't had any problems with it. For that price I'd pick another one up if I needed one.

Nope, in fact, Any new reel I buy will be an Daiwa or an Abu. If I had the cash, I'd definately pick up one (or three) of these, lol.

For the left hand these are the best price I've found, so far...

Steve this would be an excellent buy. I got my premier when it went on sale at TW for $140. It is the lightest reel I've ever used and smooth as can be. My only complaint is the drag power, I believe its rated for only 12 lbs. of drag (could be wrong on this?). I know that it is nowhere near the 24 lbs. of drag that the STX has. I use the Premier for jerkbait fishing, though, and tend to keep/like my drag set light anyway, so it's not an issue for me. If I were you I'd buy 4 of them
