I agree 100% GLoomis is all I fish but the humps keep me from trying different rods. BPS is getting old with me just more of the same useless eye candy with prices that are not even close to being good. Of course I learned this after spending a small fortune over the last 10 years there. O well still a good way to waste a good afternoon.

I had one. Hated that hump so much I shaved that sucker off and put a couple wraps of hockey tape over it.

I too have been caught in the BPS vortex.

What happens is that I go to BPS with a specific list of items that I "need", then I discover that the items are not in stock. So, I buy some stuff anyways. It is usually close to what I "needed". Ultimately, I end up making more purchases from another vendor later to get what I wanted in the first place.

The moral of the story is that now I just go online and order what I need. By getting it right the first time, I can afford what I want and don't waste money on items that I don't need.

I don't buy anything from BPS since they raised my interest rate for no good reason. I still order from Cabelas though.

I was gonna get some jelly worms last time I was there, but I can dry, and since my 10" worm box is CRAMMED full right now. So I'll get some when I have some cash.

And ya, BPS shipping is outrageous.
