Default Just orderd my reel for soft plastics and spinnerbaits

I got the curado 200e7 now I need to save up for my powell rod just not sure which one yet.

For soft plastics and spinnerbaits, I'd go with a 703. 7' MHF rods are about as good an all around rod as you can get.

x3.. Sounds like it'll be a good combo, I think I'd go with a 733 powell. Or 703 in something else cause powell don't have one that's fast action

Thats the same combo that I have (E7 and a Powell 703) and what I used mainly this weekend for 8 hours straight. Spool it up with 12lb fc and you'll be all set.

As for action, most all of Powell's are extra fast.
