I have a box that I keep in my battery compartment with a bunch of stuff like this. I will probably forget some stuff but here is what I can think of right now that is in that box:
Pliers (regular not needle nose, I have several pairs of needle nose pliers in the boat already) Screw driver (a short handled screwdriver that has bits of all styles and sizes) Duct tape Fuses Spare trolling motor prop Zip ties (wire ties) in several different sizes. lock nuts and lock washers (never know when or what you will need one on) sharp pocket knife 80 grit sandpaper (in case you have to clean battery terminals) Sharpie markers (not really sure why but I just thought it might come in handy one day) Like I said, I am probably missing some stuff but this is all stuff that I know is in there. |

OHMS meter. You can trace down a lot of problems sometimes if it is an electrical issue. If nothing else to check the fuse to see if it is good for a piece of mind. I have extra wire and connectors in case of windy days and something jars loose or breaks at a connection in high waves.
Prop wrench in case you get in a trot line etc. Glasses, either sunglasses or clear for eye protection if fishing with a partner. A tool that may save an eye if using crank baits. Ducking may not always work.

Ours in about like tomeguns... only we add a full set of extra Spark Plugs and a plug socket... have seen too many times, a whole set of fouled plugs when we were 10 miles from the ramp.
