Default Today on the Alpha jig

I didn't have a scale but I'm guessing 5?

That's a pretty bass. I would believe 5.

That's what I was thinking! lol

Great bass, I'd have to guess that it's pushing 6 pounds.

As a matter of fact yes, but of course who's to say I wouldn't have on my favorite Bitsy Bug? Nonetheless....I was crawling that jig through some christmas trees I planted last year in about 15' of water and it never even thought about hanging up.
@bassinbob...the grass is just starting to die down here and most of the trees in the background are pines....water was 54.

Talking Very nice!

The bass makes me jealous, but the background is enough to put me in the padded rooms. What a beautiful fish on a beautiful day!!!

It's a 50 acre lease in Chester county. Very deep and clear. When I say deep I mean DEEP. I was there this past monday and water was 61 but we've had some windy cold nights since then. This is one He** of a nice pond. If you want to fish it with me one day PM or email me and we'll set it up. My in-laws live in Augusta Ga so I know Aiken is s doable trip.

Ok ken, I have access to some nice ponds around here with a call and access to some for a small window of time. The best pond always produces big 'uns, two days of 3 hours of fishing each in June this year led to our best 5 (3 of us) to go a measly 26ish pounds, not too shabby, haha. Gotta love them stock tanks

Out of 50 acres 30 acres are between 25-30 ft ..15 acres between 12 & 25. Theres one little "shallow" 2+ acre flat that is about 9. There is about a 2 ft erosion lip around the entire pond(lake?) that is about 12-18" deep. Its crazy...I found bass bedding in 10-15 foot of water this spring (actually early summer) They just don't have a choice if they want to survive and boy do they!

A little 3" black/blue hand poured grub---nothing fancy....but my favorite is either Uncle Josh or a paca craw

I didn't look at the weight on the package b4 I threw it away..but feels like 3/8

Yea I've just about quit fishing big water...one of the ponds I've got access to can't be reached without the 4wd engaged and I haven't seen another boat in there since 1998! Fabulous! I'm convinced that's what Heaven is going to be like!

Nice fish buddy. I would have to dress like an eskimo to go fishing this week.
