Default Stren Super Knot Mono

Hey guys. I just go tto really try out the super knot yesterday. I got some 8lb and spooled it up on my Abu Cardinal 102. The first thing I noticed was it seemed to be limper than the original Stren. Also, as the name states, it does tie splendid knots. I never had a knot tie incorrectly as I do occasionally with original stren. I wasn't really fishing for bass, but I was throwing a Kastmaster or rainbows in a small lake near my house. (And if you know anytihng about kastmasters they'll twist up a spinning reel pretty bad.) Overall I liked this like better than the orginial purple box, and I am definately going to get more. I have heard reports about it not being as storng and breaking on the hooksets, but I haven't fished for bass specificaly with it yet so I wouldn't knot. I'll let everyone know how that goes when I use it for bass. the only downside I could see so far to this line (for bass fishing) is that it is not available over 14lb test. But I rarely use over that in mono anyways.

BB
