Smile New rod and reel combo?

I have been given $80 to spend for my birthday on a new rod and reel combo?

I was thinking about getting another Abu Garcia reel/_____ rod combo. Any suggestions. We are going to BPS.

BPS has their Extreme combos on sale for $99.00 for the 4th of July sale. That's a hard combo to beat for around $100.00.

I saw that the other day. I almost picked it up. It looked really nice.

I got $130 in cash or BPS gift cards (so far). I am not sure if I want to get a rod and reel during their 4th of July sale or to save it up and get a pontoon or float tube. I am so confused. I am like a little kid. Saving up is going to be hard because that cash and gift cards are burning a hole in my pocket right now. I guess I could save it up because I have a really good spinner rod and a baitcaster. I could take about $30 of it and get some more lures. I am torn. UGGGGHHHH!!!

Are the Extreme combos a spinning rod and reel? I do not want another baitcaster right now.

The Extreme combos are baitcasters. BPS has some decent spinning combos from $100.00-$130.00. Here's the link.
