We call it a rock bass, how about you? (pict)
Fished the Redfield reservoir for the first time in more than twenty years and had a ball. Nothing special to report mostly dinks, one respectable bronze back at about 2lbs...
Junior caught his first ever topwater fish on a hula popper. I've attached a picture of what we call a rock bass, ain't that some pretty water in the background? What is it really or what do you call it? You can't tell from the pict. but the eyes had a bit of a reddish cast to them. Anyway Junior was as happy as can be and we had a great day in a 14 foot '78 Montgomery Ward tin boat!
