Nice .. very nice..

So the NC PIERMAN makes a run from PA down?

Long drive... whew.. long drive!!!

That spec is so sweet just looking at it I smell it.. Love the smell of spec trout.

Some big ones are showing up in the lower bay shallows right now.. We may get some too.

I think we will do a spot count tourney next weekend.

Nice reds!!

It seems down here, we got more of the Bulls, but I much prefer slot sized reds for table fare and fight on light, light tackle.

well..we USED to live about 45 mins away, now we live about 6 hours away. hahaha. too many hurricanes for me. my parents had a house on the island for a few years too. i just never had the urge to saltwater fish. wife STILL don't understand that one, lmao. i like eating flounder, amberjack, dauphin (and no not flipper) among some others. love shrimp. just never liked fishing the salt water. call me crazy. wife has most of her brothers and sisters still living in mobile area. we go down there and visit them. always try to go to mardi gras ya know. she loves the parades, moonpies and such. sometimes we go to a ball. my parents used to have a house on the island (ivan swept it away). got tired of it being broken into (7 times in 4 years). it is a great place to visit, but i ain't gonna live there again....maybe ifn i win da lottery i'll buy a summer place, hahahaha.

I don't get down to OBX but I've got to get down there sometime. I will be fishing Capt Mike's creek this weekend. He's got kitty's, crabs, reds, spot, and croaker just from his dock. You head out to the point and then you've got convicts, specs, and flounder. Run up the main river for bass, perch, bowfin, and pickles. Head the other direction for the sharks and world record croaker. Yep, plenty to fish for. And when you are done fishing the cooler's full and dinner's on the table......can't get any better than that!!!!! Looking forward to it.
