Default Hello Hana

5-7 foot waves and winds up 62 mph are going the make Saturday just about impossible. So the big Paxfest has been canceled. If the power stays on perhaps I should work on my tackle.

I took this in 50 mph and waves to 9 feet two years ago. Pop up storm. 14 of us almost never made it back home that day..

That is the Smiths Point. 9hrs later and 13 miles we hit port..

The point is be carefull guys...if in dought do not go out.

Capt Mike

IKE is going to hurt somebody, somewhere.
Just hope its not the Texas coast, would screw up the summer fishing for this year.

We had about 4" of rain this morning with winds in the 30 to 40 range. Two roads around my house were closed due to flooding. But nothing like Fran many years ago.

It cleared out quickly and this afternoon we had sunshine...enough that I resumed recarpeting the boat in the driveway

We got our part of the tropical storm up here last night , had some heavy rain and wind in the 20-30 range and tornado warnings but luckily that was the worst of it .
