Ended up not having to work Friday, so I headed downstate, got to BPS before the doors opened.

Since I had to come up with another 91 bucks to get the gifty, the Bait Monkey got his as well.

9 XPS Nitro Minnow floaters in 3 colors
9 XPS Nitro Super Shallow square bills in 4 colors
1 XPS Z-Pop
BPS Z9 Swimbait
Luck E Strike Perfect Worm Rig
Lure retriever
Anchor in a bag

Everything but the anchor was on sale.
I'll post Yak pics later

Now this is just mean... Only posting pics of the tackle when you've got a brand new Yak sitting! you should be ashamed!

Haha. Well....did you get that crummy weather yesterday? The Yak is a little dirty from the 3 1/2 hour ride home. Haven't cleaned her up yet

Yesterday, we had a little rain in the morning. Then it started raining last night around 10 and hasn't stopped since. I'm hoping when it's all done (supposed to last all weekend) we'll have some open water.

Nice looking coffee table you got there Mallen!!!! Nah, great haul man. I have a few of those XPS topwater plugs. Change the hooks out and they are great baits.

Thanks guys. Now Spring is really gonna drag it's feet!

Not gonna use it as a coffee table, but it would make a great serving dish for nacho dip...

If I can save up enough, I might get a yak this summer.

BigB, if you're looking for a sit on top, this one really SEEMS very reasonably priced. Once I actually get a chance to test it out, I'll let you know how I like it.

Bama.......I thought the food was gonna be stored in your livewell....

Oh....I got an idea or 3 up my sleeve.......

I do think Yak makers are missing the boat (or yak, as it were) on a couple major things they could do to boost their sales over the competition.

one would be internal rod storage. How cool would it be for a yak owner to secure his/her rods inside the Yak's belly for transportin to and from the lake?

Another, much easier upgrade, would be to lift the seat a couple inches, with a hollowed out area underneath the raised seat, to hold a big ol Plano utility box? That would be extremely handy

A rod locker would be awesome!

The Jackson Coosa are newer fishing yaks that come with the raiser seat with storage room underneath ...Native ultimate makes a seat riser for around 60-70 bucks..but no storage I dont think..I dont know if the Coosa style seats are available?

You can probably build your own...Shouldnt be hard or ex*****ve...Heres a simple idea..down further

Nice!

Do you plan on adding a rudder and all the other bolt-on items to it?

I would like to purchase one but I always think about large gators approaching and eating me - lol - seriously..........
