What a good night!
Well I have been wanting to get out, I finally got to the pond. There wasn't many people fishing which was nice. I started by throwing a buzz bait. I threw it for about 1 hour and half and not a single hit . I really couldn't believe it. On my first trip out to the pond I was gonna get skunked. I had about 15 minute's left, and I switched to old faithful (5 inch senko). So this man and his wife were talking to me about bass fishing (While I am just jigging this senko up and down) Then I see my line slowly start to drag ( you should have seen the look on my face ). Then he drops it and I jig up again and my line slowly starts to drag and I set the hook. Nice 3 pound post spawn bass ( sorry no pictures ) But I know its not that big of a deal to most of you guys but when you haven't done any bass fishing in 4 months you get really excited and happy . So thats my little story
God bless and good night. |

Sounds good bud! A 3 pound bass is pretty nice, and better then getting skunked any day!

If I go two weeks without fishing I get excited about that first fish when I get back on the water

Nice haul! That's what I'm talking about! I would like to think we all get that heart skip when we feel the tick tick or watch the line start drifting off. If you don't get it, it might be time to move on to something else.

I know, it just makes your heart skip a little bit when you see that line slowly dragging away
