Spoons?
I was digging through my garage when i came across a containter full of spoons. Theres more than a dozen in there with assorted shapes and sizes. Do any of you guys like to throw spoons? If you do, when and where, and under what conditions do you throw them? I would like to put them to some use instead of just collecting dust.

Weedless spoons like Johnson Spoon? If so, I love them in thick hydrilla, they come through real nice when a spinnerbait or even a worm wont! You can also skitter them along the top like a buzzbait! I always add a grub the them! I think one of the reasons they work so dern well is because bass don't see them as much as they used too! Defnitly one my go-to's in hydrilla and reeds!
Good luck!

I got a buddy that throw a spoon all the time he catches a ton of bluegill, pickerel, and small bass on it but have yet to see anything impressive come in off it.

I just got a couple for vertical jigging at the causeway, ones made by bomber, is one ounce and chartreuse. The other is blk spots on sliver at half ounce made by some gater sounding brand LOL ...Its a good way to beat the heat under the shade of the bridge, plus put a walleye in the boat for dinner.

I've never had much luck with spoons even though I used to always try DareDevils and Swedish Pimples
