Default kistler carbon steel rods

I bought a ARS David Fritts crankin stick last x-mas and it had an automatic reel ejection seat on it. (ya'll remember me cryin about it)
When I took it back, they didn't have any more Fritts crankin sticks, so I exchanged it for a Kistler Carbon Steel crankin stick and I really like this rod. I use it for all my shallow and medium diving crankbaits. It casts a mile and handles fish real well.
Has anybody else tried these rods?

And I don't have to chase the reel.

Never tried them. Is that handle half cork and half foam? I think that'd be kind of weird to fish with.

I didn't notice it being weird, but I always put rod wrap on my fishing rods.

I haven't used the Carbon Steel. Most of mine are the Helium LTA, both spin and casting, and I love Kistler rods - they're all I use. I also have a few of the Graphite Plus (composite blank), I believe they would be similiar to the Carbon Steel rod, that I use for crankbaits. Welcome to the world of Kistler.
