Been a rough month....
Started out with my weenie dog, Chilli Dog, came up missing, then the back episode and the foot drop, and last night my Granny passed away.
She was a very lovely and special lady. She lived a strong Christian life and without words she was a witness through just watching her. She had been taken to the ER about 3 weeks ago and sent home with a diagnosis of a stomach bug. He condition only worsened and my dad called the ambulance 3 weeks ago. The admitted her and later found an obstruction. They ended up removing a foot of her small intestines. She has been up and down, but finally got moved out of ICU last Sunday. She kept aspirating fluid and she kept telling us she was tired. She was a few days shy of 91. My dad told me last night that she woke yesterday morning and told him she wanted to wake up with Grandpa. She got her request last night at 9:10 and woke up in a new eternal life. God bless her.
