Poly Styrene? yea that is the stuff that goes on the side of a "house" not in bottom of boat, house is not = to boat. i understand where he is coming from for floatation but we have stuff already in the boat for that. and he is going to cut a backflip whenever he hears about the casting deck

are ya living up to yer name cricket? listen pal, i know it is a drag to be in school and all. BUT...if you want a good paying job in the future, school is the ticket my friend. i am 47, barely making it from check to check (even when the economy ISN'T in the drink), bad back, legs, knees, etc. YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN MY SHOES AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE BUDDY!!! i ain't kidding either. go to gollege, it's only 4 years of your life. and the REWARDS are tremendious!!! ok, rant over......GO STUDY!!!!!

i agree totally bama.. haha.. i dont want my best friend graduating a year later than me.. haha that ring hes got says 2010 lol..

but ///

back to the boat..

I doubt i'm doing a rear deck like normal bass boats.. but do yall think i should go ahead and put the seat on the floor like a traditional bass boat?

Its tag says it holds 4ppl.. i figure if i put that deck on front i'd be safe to go with 3 or think 4 would be alright.. the main problem would be space..

driving:

someone on the livewell , driver and seat beside driver then if need be, someone on the floor..

Fishing:

Kingpin seat on front deck, drivers seat on king pin on right side and seat beside driver on kingpin fishing the left side.. and if theres another we'll double the front

what do yall think?

the point is to stand on it and have a place to put batteries, gas tank and emergeny stuff.. maybe we can find a 50 to put on the back later..then we'd deffinately be alright

the other brand of wter treatment is ok. just don't be stingy with it ok? the more the better. let it soak in real good and recoat it. it'll help the plywood last longer.

SHE LIVES.. or floats.. haha

we took her down to big pond/lake with boat access and put it i.. the wind was kinda cross ways which was horrible but i got her off and almost went into the rocks.. anywho.. anthony jumped in the water.. saved her and pushed me towards the trailer..then winched it up against the bunk boards and i grabbed one and rotated with my beasty forearm strenghth enough to get it back straight..

then when we got home we did some work..

well the first floor is down... i got it screwed down with drywall screws.. then the back middle is fiberglassed and the back of the little corner is fiberglassed. So tomorrow the 2nd floor is goin in tomorrow probally and the control cables will be here tomorrow.. and then i've gotta buy the steering cable.. Motor will be dropped on and i should be motabotin..

if i lay down water seal it'll be heavy on the top layer

thanks.. tomorrow i wanna get the last little bit of fiberglass sanded flat.. then do that little bit of bondo work in the corner.. then i'll probally glass the underside of those holes where the braces were.. but thats not manditory. I'm goin to get the wood cut out for it probally tomorrow.. my dad wants to trim some of the glass edge off before i lay the next layer of wood.. but tomorrow i'm mounting the livewell and putting the wiring togeather. then the next layer of wood will butt up to it but not cover the screw areas [ on the livewell] so i can get it out later.

I've got to do some head scratching on the bilge area. i've also got to glass that edge so water dosent go between the sheets

oh my dad also thinks that is too thick for a 3/8+1/2" floor so a total of 7/8" wood on it ..idk.. oh well.. thats whats goin down.. but the floor seems ALOT sturdier than last time even with just screws..
