Don't feel bad. Fishing this past weekend I made a cast and snagged one of my rods and watched it sail into the lake. Kistler rod and Citica reel. Good thing was I was in shallow water. After about an hour of dragging a plug around the bottom I heard the plug click against the rod. Got it back. Maybe mom remembers who she sold it to.

Nope it was over a month ago... I tried all that. She has no clue. She thought it was my g/f's step dad but it wasnt.. Whoever it was knew what he was doing he went all the way to the back of my garage to take it and he knew my mom knew nothing about rods.. She said they all looked the same. Im sorry but my damn reel is pink and blue! Its very shiney compared to the older rod and reels.. No use getting PO'd again about it whats done is done we all make mistakes but this one cost me a loomis and a nice quantum.
