81 Degrees!!!!!!!!
Hadn't been out to fish in about a month due to the slow bite. So today I wake up to a sunny, 81 degrees and said to my self: "let's see what this weather brings"!
So I grabbed one rod with a Zoom 12" twirly tail, watermelon seed worm with a pegged bullet weight, texas rigged. I told myself let me go bank fish for 10-15 minutes just to see. I was met by an even 3 lber.............then I went home to finish homework - |

I would have fished longer but I hooked that bass in his butthole and didn't have pliers long enough to grab the barbed side of the hook and reverse it out of his gut. So I ended up releasing him with the hook in his gut. That was the only hook I had with me so I kinda had to leave. I feel so bad when that happens!

Fished for 20 minutes today! Two dinks and a 4lber.
Haven't took the Jon boat out in a bit - been lazy but my buddy recently told me that water temps have gone up to around 63-67 degrees. What a difference that seemed to make. a weightless black senko for the 4lber shown here Big bite bait 12" twirly tail on the dinks |

Looks like you're not the only one with a warm spell right now! 34* and cloudy right now... but still frozen.
Congrats, on fish! |
