Best personal day
I had the best day i had ever had last wednesday. I had off of work because i had to work on Saturday. The air temp cooled down considerably so i was expecting the fish to be in post frontal moods. i had flukes wave worms and suspending jerkbaits tied on. I found a little point on the lake i had never noticed before and there were scattered stumps on it i hit it with the fluke and caught a nice 2 lb chunk. I was heading to a bigger point just like this one. I went past a place I have marked fish before but never caught any it was a pretty nice dropoff into 15 ft of water in the current with a whole bunch of scattered stumps. i put on a lucky craft cb flat 200 Aurora black First cast 4lber, next cast 3 lber, next cast 3lber. two casts later another 3 lber. it when on like this for another half hour. i caught 9 bass the smallest one being a 18 inch maybe 2 lb smallmouth in 45 min then the trolling motor battery died due to fighting the wind and i lost my crankbait because it got hung up and the trolling motor didnt have enough power to fight the wind to go get it. I just wish i would have been in a tournament.
