Default You can never have too many of?

What you can you never have too many of in your box?

Just got my goodie box today and it has what I can never have too many of and that’s jigs?

The exchange was really fun and for those of you that did not participate, you should try it. For me its been a highlight in a normally difficult time.

I am on a new fishing campaign and it is, “Keep the fun in fishing”

Rods and Reels!

... No, I'm serious. Also crankbaits, especially Bandit 100's and 200's for me.

Tubes and 3/8 oz tube jig heads! In 3 days of fishing I went through about 30 of both. Oh, and maybe Quantum rods.... I broke another one (that's 3 for the year!)

Senkos for me, with jigs being a close second. I have a real problem hoarding. I just never want to be without. I believe at last count I had somewhere in the neighboorhood of 2000 senkos (knock offs) and close to 200 jigs. Can't be without!!!

Geez, for me it's easier to name the things I don't hoard than the things I do. I do have an abundance of soft plastics with stick baits taking the lead. I have a ton of lipless cranks too. After that, rods and reels, I don't currently have as many as I want but I don't see any end to building rods (for myself) and buying reels to go on those rods. I love buying tackle! I definitely have a hoarding problem, I end up giving stuff away because I have 20 packages of the exact same thing!

Curly tail grubs.

After I started added curly tail grubs to jigs (there by making a hybrid jig I can pitch, crawl, or swim) im been addicted to em. But I lose alot of em. Seems like if i get snagged, its the grub and i can just rip it off, or likewise if I miss a hookset, the jig comes back without the grub trailer.

I love this combo btw. I found a good spot where I can cast almost to the other bank, So i cast it into some brush, if no strike I pop and crawl it to the first drop off, if still no bit I start reeling in, giving it little pops and treat it almost like a crank bait. Im surprised how well this little thing works. And no im not using swim/finesse jigs. Just normal 1/2 oz jigs to make it work.

Very good Joe, admitting you have a problem is the first step in not caring about your problem and continuing to hoard tackle! Keep up the good work!

Well, to be honest, I'd have to say I can NEVER have too many Payday candy bars. Otherwise, probably spinnerbaits or Excaliber 3" poppers. Just started using the poppers this year and man I'm hooked!!!

You hit the nail on the head my friend. I have a problem and I love every second of it!! My biggest problem is not making enough money to further my problem!

Edit: I should also add that I am a bargain shopper when it comes to tackle. I am pretty good at finding things when they go on sale and rarely pay full price for anything.

Oh man, lately it's been swimbaits. I just can't get enough of 'em. I know it's purely a case of me being caught by the bait companies more than the fish being caught by me, but I can't help it.

(Finding old packs of discountinued colors on sale for 99 cents a pop doesn't hurt, either!).

zoom fluke/smokey shad and Zara Spook Jr. I have caught more on the Spook this year than anything else, including a PB of 10lbs.

I already have too much of everything. That never deters me from buying more, which indicates I have a problem, certainly. But I could probably fish the next 5 years and not need to buy any more tackle or lures. It's shamefull, I know. HELP ME! I better join AA (Anglers Anonamous) or something.

I would have had to agree with you this spring. I was going through packs of 5 inch soft swimbaits.

For me it is very specific... Firetiger Storm Wiggle Wart...

I have caught so many fish on this bait including my PB and have lost a lot of them to hang-ups, bad line, and bad knot tying. So I have a few in the tackle box at all times so if i lose one i have a replacement.

You got any of the originals, or just the new ones? The new ones aren't the same, and I like the old ones better.

Wiggle Warts are killer in colder water.

I have a ton of older models, and I agree that they are just better. Wiggle Warts are killer in ANY temp!

It's all part of the addiction! If you find something at half off, you practically have to buy two!
