Fishing is for the birds!
I posted a different thread with my fishing update from the past week, but I also wanted to share these loon and eagle pictures that I took last week at the lake. I don't remember ever seeing eagles there in pairs before, but I saw that several times on this trip. Maybe it was the same pair, who knows, but there were eagle sightings almost every time out and there were loons on pretty much every area of the lake. I didn't see any little ones yet, but I bet they will be hatched and bobbing around in the water or riding around on their parents' backs this weekend when we're up there again.

OK, bama. I'll keep trying. It was already a longshot to get that first loon pic. It was just by accident that I got that one. I could watch them with a camera all day and not get a shot like that, but I just take my pics by grabbing the camera for 30 seconds as a break from fishing and get lucky to get some decent shots every now and then.
