Default Rat-L-Trap question.

I'm looking at my BPS catalog at the Rat-L-Traps and see there is the Original series and the Legend series. What is the difference between the two series? And while I'm posting, has anyone tried the new Strike King Red Eye Shad? How would you say the Strike King lipless crankbait compares to the Rat-L-Traps?

red eye is a much wider wobbler than the diamond shad strike king puts out.a rattle trap has a tighter wobble much like the diamond shad. but not near as loud as the diamond shad..the strike king diamond shad is one of the loudest lipless baits i have ever used..

Any idea what the difference is between the Rat-L-Trap Original series and their Legend series? How do you like the extra loud rattle of the Diamond Shad Zooker? I have wondered if perhaps the rattles on these baits can be a bit too much at times, perhaps spooking off bass rather than attracting them. Too much of a good thing perhaps?

Zooker, I also read that article, but it was in Texas where this happened. That is how Sebile got the idea to fill their rattle bait with that oily liquid. It dampens the rattle producing a lower-vibe which supposedly attracts fish.

Of the lipless baits I used, I like Rattletraps the best. I've also had some luck on a Cotton Cordell lipless bait. I have not tried the XCalibur ones yet, but I've got a couple: one 1/2 oz one and one of the One Knockers.

In early February pig-n-jig gave us this link to an extremely informative article about lipless cranks on the Yamamoto site:
