Kinda Cold Today
Wind was blowing for my boat shakeout day. Cold too. The target was crappie from many spots for research. Well they did not bite very well. Light nibbles and many missed fish shows they are not turned on yet. Need a few more warm days and nights.
A few LGmouth hit early before the winds let up. We did land 6 nice crappie. Only one had any color to it. Capt Mike

Supposed to be really nice all next week, that should help - at least for those ABOVE the water surface.

Thanks Capt, for some reason I enjoy following your season.
Hope you have another great one.

Gee im glad I moved west and slightly south, was mid 70s ,yesterday ,same today and goona be 71 tomorrow, water temp is 54F.Looks like while chilly you did rather well.
Been awhile since ive caught fish without color. Also glad no white stuff in pics. There was a time when I made footprints on the front deck getting those first outings in,twas younger and more foolish back then.Broke the ice at sutton or summersville,w.va more times than one. Nice getting out and actually catching fish rather than a cold. Last edited by lilmule; 03-11-12 at 07:44 AM. |
