Default Interesting Watercraft Design

When at the ramp the other evening, a fellow and his wife came in from the lake to dock on one of these. They'd been out fishing. www.craigcat.com

Looks neat, but also very unstable for a klutz such as myself.

The 25 horse pushed it at 30 mph according to the owners.....they also report it's surprisingly stable.....the lady pulling herself up on the front after swimming. At any rate, an interesting design.

seen a bunch of commercials for them this weekend, interesting design. I might try to replicate the design with some 2x4's, duct tape, and a little bit of jb weld, won't be as pretty.

I also saw a saltwater fishing tournament where they took the boats and electronics away from some professional fishing guides. They gave them an intertube and told them to get creative. Some of those guys had plywood platforms, some had a huge bait tub/livewell attached to the bottom, the guy was actually in the bait tub while fishing. The interesting thing, they were fishing for billfish and needed a leader touch, kinda spooky in a tube with a sailfish just inches from the boat.

Laser, your description is pretty much identical to the picture I had. aka accident waiting to happen. LMAO! One question, though-where would you put the trolling motor ?

Mac, that is an interesting concept. A PWC on steroids. Looks like a fun ride regardless.
