Kansas boys caught a few

Tony and I went for an early morning short trip today. Forecast temps are 100 degrees so we decided to be there at 5:00 am and head home by 11:00 am The day started out with trolling motor troubles as the tonys wouldn't run. We boated to a spot and used the anchor to fish for awhile with no bites. After checking everything out we found a loose wire in the plug and got that fixed. Then we were able to get going. Tony caught a few nice ones on a Jackle frog. I caught a few nice ones on a Fluke and then on a jig. Tony had the big girl of the day with a 4 lb fish. Most of the other bass were right about 3 lbs each.

Looks like some good fish! Glad to see an update, havent seen you on much, but just might be me.

Sounds like a good day, and glad the trolling motor was a quick fix.

Nice fish guys....I miss Kansas bass fishing.

I'm gonna have to plan a trip home during the spring one of these years. Bass and turkey at the same time!

Sounds like a nice morning of fishing, other than the TM part. Early morning and late evening are about the only time you can fish around here, summer comes so early.

fatastic guys. glad the "problem" was a small one. and love the pics. it IS getting hot. but i am wanting to go still.....but waiting till next weekend.

Me too John! I would have gone this weekend except I have a couple buddies visiting from out of town. But come next saturday morning, it's on!!!
