sweet!!! lights on the boats..
this has to be one of the wildest best ideas i seen to come along in marine lighting...
this was posted by mike from bluewaterled.com A little while ago I was made aware of a new product that I had been trying to develop myself. I waited to long and the patent was grabbed by Night Fishion. Since then I have got to know the guys at Night Fishion, Scot and Tim, and they are good poeple. We have been trying to help eachother out with better solutions for our businesses and quality control. You can reach Scot at nightfishion@yahoo.com with any price questions and to schedule an install. I am a Nucli-eye dealer and respect that product very much. This is something totally different. The following pics show what I am talking about. Nav Lights, the Coast Guard is stamping these. Scot has gone through the proper channels to make this legal. Docking Lights: now i know mike to some extent and know he is pretty good guy.. i did not ask him to put this here nor was asked by him too.. sinc i did i figure i'll throw him a bone too..he does alot of storage compartment lighting along with some off the hook boat lighting.. i don't brag on anyone i wont use there products.. i'll liky be putting some of his lighting in my boat.. if you fish at night like tend to. you know the bow light seems to love catching your baits..this coastguard approved bow light looks off the hook.. zooker

now zooker. THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE SMARTEST, MOST GENUINE PRODUCT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! solves alot of problems for the fisherman. i too want this on my rig. opens alot of things for the fisherman. fish at night without worrying about getting caught up with the pole sticking up for one. abilities are enormously great. i LOVE THIS!! truly i do. how much would this cost? and is it a diy project? on a scale of 1-10 how hard is the set up?

headlights and tailights are nothing new around here on duckboats but that takes the concept to a whole new level. very cool indeed. isn't the new LED technology great? the boatgorilla needs prices!

I got livewell lights from Mike and they work great. I would love to get those too. I read a while ago about them and at the time it wasn't a real easy install. Hopefully they have something figured out so this isn't too expensive and is relatively easy to install. If so I'm ready for these.
Now somebody just needs to make an anchor light on an electric telescoping pole so you don't have to fumble around for that either. |

ZOOKER! THANKYOU FOR POSTING THIS!
I have been trying to figure out how to do this for months. I have the trolling motor mount too close to my red/green nav light so that it blocks the light at some angles, its asking to get me a ticket from an anal marine cop. This is the answer. Thanks.

Yeah, exactly the same...except he's talking about having an anchor light on a pole that raises on its own, instead of a pole that lowers into the water to keep you in one place.
So I guess no, it's not the same. |

I would think a power pole has to be about 50 times more sturdy than what a automatic white light would be.
But some folks mount the all around white on top of the outboard cowl. Problem solved.
