Default 1998 Challenger Boat Help!!

Hey all I am thinking of upgrading boats. I currently have a 1993 Tidecraft Wildfire. I found a boat in my area, a 1998 Challenger 395 se radical one. The price he is asking is $4850, and I checked it out yesterday, and it looks great. The seats and all interior looked great also.

I am just wanting some advice on whether or not anyone is able to give me any advice on whether this is a good deal. Please no-one buy this boat out from under me. haha

150 Mercury
GPS/Fish finder Hummingbird
2 Live Wells
1 Bait
70lb. Trolling Motor
3 Bank Charger
CD Player

Madcock,

take a look at this website.

http://www.nadaguides.com/SectionHom...=24&p=0&f=5601

Please note a few things though...these values are a GUIDE only. I have knowledgable sources who tell me these online prices are NOT the ones in the official printed book NADA puts out. Plus...like with any pricing guide, values might not reflect changes in the real world with economic fluctuations and whatnot after the guide was put together.

Plus, you have to be careful with that site as you have to pay very close attention to what the price you are given includes. I.e, PAY ATTENTION TO THE ASTERISKS.

All in all, that boat looks pretty clean in the pictures. Might be a great deal.

I'd have the motor checked out, but it looks like a nice boat.

Thats the last company that Buster Dobbs owned and operated before he passed on. Very good boat and decent performance as well. He at one time was designing VERY fast boats but made these to accomodate both the novice and the pro.
