I used this bamboo last spring for Rainbows, Brookies and Creek smallies and I am not going to be a bamboo user. For me its like moving into a slo-mo mode. I love fly fishing but just need the speed of grahite. This is a beautiful rod, if your a bamboo lover the price is exceptional. Has rod sock and aluminum case. This is a 2 pc 2 tip 7' rod. Very beautiful rod. I will throw in a almost new Rio 4# WF line (sorry no reel)

I really want to find a trade for a new or near new -no boat rash- a St. Croix Legend.

tom man........... YOU are killing me bud. i would LOVE to have this fly rod. and yes the price is a good one too. IF i had the money, it would be sold my friend. but alas, i can't afford it right now. beautiful rod though.

I hear ya bama. I'm just retired so I know what watching the ole dollar is all about.
Its different fishing bamboo I learned. Hook set requires just a little more hesitation and let the fish do the work. Casting takes a little change in how you do it with grahite, more like glass. Gotta slow things down but that ain't bad.
I'm sure I'll have it out this winter. I love the fall creeks. It'll probably be here.
