Sly is an excellent choice.
For some funky reason I've been checking out bluegrass, must be getting old. Ever since my wifes easy listening station (light rock) was playing Keith Urban and I thought it was Rob Thomas I've realized there is not much difference between the two so I've been checking out country, Never in my life did I think I would say that. |

Elvis is dead, I'm pretty darn sure of it now! I held hope that he was in fact just 'undercover', possibly living in a quaint little town somewhere in Tennessee or West Va. I had this huge scenario in my mind that in the year 2005, he was going to come out of hiding and do some serious carp fishing which he used to do as a kid growing up back in Mississippi. But I know it ain't gonna happen now! 1. If He were alive... there wouldn't be any rap music! 2. If He were alive .. we'd know the truth about JFK, because he'd tell us! 3. If He werewere alive... Graceland would be the governor's mansion of Tennessee, because Elvis would be Governor now! 5. If He were alive... the hair color jet black would be more popular because he'd do endorsements for 'Clariol' 6. And Lisa Marie would have never married Michael Jackson, cause Elvis wouldn't have let her!.... And last but not least. If he were still alive he would've come to our farm and done some carp fishen with me and tha C Man. I sure miss him...Polly Last edited by CarpMan; 03-14-06 at 09:52 PM. |

Man all the noise is one of the reasons I want to go fishing, not listen to anymore of it. The sounds of nature is what I listen too, not anyone nagging, so I only answer the phone when I feel like it LOL.

depends with me. Sometimes im in the mood to listen, other times im not. but when i do i just go through my ipod. nothin particular. i hate alotta the new rap these days. if i listen to rap its tupac, david banner, nas, notorious, young jeezy, and a few other true artists. i dont really like listening to raps about ''grills'' and sh*t like that. but usually its incubus, red hot chilli peppers, sublime, 311, motion city soundtrack, the spill canvas, jimmy buffet, taking back sunday, GNR, queen, ac/dc, quiet riot, the who, bands like that. or if im really in the mood to just relax i'll get into my collection of bob marley. and i have a few local bands that i listen to sometimes. pretty much i just listen to whatever comes on the ole ipod.

The only thing I listen to on the water is the sweet sound of nature. When on the way home it's Kenny Wayne Shepard, a little Motzart, Led Zepplin,
Brahms, Bach, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaghn, and not in any particular order. |

Lets see fishin music huh.....well I vary a bit.....
System of a down Blood Reign Lacuna Coil Old Metallica(And Justice and Killem All) Alice in Chains Pink Floyd I have 2 computers at home 1 is the everyday puter and the other is the music puter I have close to 7000 songs on it. I make mixes the night before i fish pending on what Im feelin. I do find that metal has a great cadence when it comes to workin a top water... I would rather listen to static than any rap...Country is is almost as bad. Ive always been a rocker and always wil be. I like Classic rock, 80s metal and new metal/alternative!!! Fast and furious first thing in the mornin is better than any cup of coffee to get the blood pumpin!!!! |

I'll take Mother Nature's music. No radio, mp3 player or anything like that in the boat. In the truck I'm just a country boy
