Default July 19th Report

Perfect fly fishing weather and so we started with some new Ribbit frogs on double hooks. They proved to be worthy in the grass , muck and new pads. Snakehead hit after hit in the thickest stuff yielded no landings but certainly had the heart pumping. After a bit a pesky LGMouth was hooked and landed. As the tide rolled out we moved out to the main creek and fished some edges with various baits. A couple LGMouth nailed our offerings but we really did not zero in on what they wanted till much later.
I was demonstrating the proper use of the Ziggy and I accidentally landed a snakehead and three LGMouth.. accidentally..

The fly was king in the last two hours and many bass landed just before dark.
