Check your pockets
I had about an hour to kill two evening ago so I stopped by a local pond to throw nothing but topwater. After a few blow ups on a frog, I decided to switch over to a mann's hardnose snake.
http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Manns...page-MHNS.html They can be a pain to cast, but they are a lot of fun to fish with and can lead to great blowups. I never got a hook up, but it was fun to watch this thing swim across the stickups and then get hit. With my hour winding down, I decided to call it quits and head home. Like I often do, I took the bait off of my hook and put into the cargo pocket of my shorts. I got home and began putting everything away, I managed to get distracted and never took the snake out of my pocket. That evening I set my shorts on the end of the bed. Fast forward to last night The bait in the pocket would not have been an issue except for the fact that my wife was doing laundry. What do you think fell (or as she called it, jumped) out of the shorts when she picked them up. I for one do not think that the bait looks that realistic. Apparently it does to a woman terrified of snakes. Further more, once I realized why she was screaming and now standing on the bed, that I was laughing to the point of tears.

I've heard of having a rocket in your pocket, but never a snake.

How about the worms in the fridge that get pushed to the back and you forget about... My wife hates anything that crawls or slithers so putting in the fridge is doubly bad!
